Welcome to Anjana Arul

We are very pleased to welcome Anjana Arul to our team.

Anjana joins us as a Graduate Engineer, with a BE in Civil Engineering and also an ME in construction Management. Joining our Civil & Structural team, Anjana has an aim to always create sustainable designs and construction practices.

Having gained prior experience working as a Procurement Specialist for the oil and gas construction Industry, she is working with Tesla primarily in the structural design of foundations and seismic analysis of substation structures and foundations.

Anjana is based in Tesla’s Wellington Office.

Tesla is very pleased to announce that we have achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification for our Quality Management System.

Quality is the number one priority for Tesla Consultants. To maintain this, we have operated a well documented quality procedure manual for many years, so transitioning to external accreditation was not difficult.

Welcome to Stuart Rose

We are very pleased to welcome Stuart Rose to our team.

Stuart is a Project Manager with over twenty-five years’ experience in electrical engineering and project management including 11 years in power generation and distribution plus 6 years project managing HV and LV switchboard solutions for multiple industry clients.

Stuart has broad experience within the New Zealand electricity industry, having worked on many projects, both from within the owning utility company and as a contracted resource.  

Stuart’s role will be a combination of providing project management assistance internally for Tesla’s teams on larger jobs, and providing project management services for our clients.

Welcome to Chayan Ghosh

We are pleased to welcome Chayan, a certified Functional Safety Engineer (FSEng), with over 15 years of experience in engineering and project management for multidisciplinary projects and in management of change activities.
By joining Tesla’s generation / substations team, Chayan provides additional capabilities in engineering management, safety instrumented systems design, hazardous area design, alarm management, functional safety, safety critical elements (SCEs) and process reviews for our key clients.
Chayan’s specialist area is from concept to detailed design and delivery of safety-critical aspects covering HAZOP with stakeholders, and facilitating CHAZOPs, alarm rationalisation workshops, functional safety workshops, LOPA workshops, SIL reviews and SIL verifications.

Welcome to Zane Murphy-Ballantine

We are pleased to welcome Zane Murphy–Ballantine to our Draughting team. Zane comes to us with three years’ experience in the NZ Electrical Industry.

He has good knowledge of providing draughting services across a number of clients for substation, switchyard, telecommunications, and control system designs, and is a great addition to our team.

Zane is based in Tesla’s Auckland Office.

2021 Annual Fishing Trip

The 2021 Winner Sean Lewis. The smile is as big as the fish!

The restrictions are over, our annual staff fishing trip was on again this year! On 10th April a full boat-load of 20 staff headed out from Coromandel for a fun morning on the water.  This year our “newbie” General Manager Sean won the Richard Moore Memorial Trophy for the biggest fish.
