After a year of travel restrictions due to Covid, Tesla’s staff and family activities have commenced again. At the end of February, we gathered in Taupo for a fun cruise on the lake which included viewing the famous giant Ngatoroirangi Mine Bay Maori Rock Carvings. On the boat we were invited to sample the host’s special Jolly Pilsener Beer. The weather was fantastic, with a warm and calm conditions for the trip.
The cruise was followed by group walk around Taupo township, and a lunch stop with sampling at the Crafty Trout Brewery and Bier Kafe, then a stop at the Rogue Bore Brewery Pop-up where we heard about NZ’s first geothermal powered brewery and their beer. We were invited to try some of their finest, and talk with their team over a tasting.
The day was a great success, allowing staff and partners to relax and enjoy a different New Zealand tourist experience.
